Summertime

Barbeques, warm evenings, friends, blankets, sunsets, lawn chairs, concerts in the park; you get the gist. Now concerts in the park is the true love of summer. I went to one tonight with my friend Eric in the heart of Denver. I mean we did the whole deal. We picked up dinner, strolled in with our blanket and lawn chairs, and fought our way through the thousands of people who have staked their space with their own blankets and picnic dinners. We carefully chose our space that was close enough to the music we could hear it clearly but far enough away we didn't have to yell to talk to each other. The other key to our seating was maximum people watching potential. People watching is my favorite feature of the concerts in the park. There is something about these events that bring out all types of people and their dogs. I hate that I chuckle at people as they walk by but I can't seem to help myself. The way people express themselves is an amazing thing. The music was mediocre but that is what lies behind the joy of concerts in the park. I suggest you maximize your summertime by attending your local event. We plan on going back.
