pondering

A couple of things I pondered today:

1. Since I moved away from California all of my trips have been going back to California. How am I ever going to reach my 50 by 50 at this rate?
2. How does it go from snowing and cold to sunny and mild in say 15 minutes?
3. How am I ever going to finish my homework if I keep procrastinating?

something terrible

I don't normally post about bad things that go on but I couldn't help but post this. This morning while working at Starbucks a 14 year old girl was run over by a group of highschoolers (in their car) right outside of my store. It was about 6:40 am and was still dark so luckily we didnt' actually see anything happen. But some of the girls say they did see her underneath the car when the ambulance came. She is in serious condition and are not sure if she's going to pull through. It's a horrible thing when anyone gets injured in an accident but it is even worse when it is a group of high schoolers...
please pray for her, her family, friends and the poor girl driving the car.

Feel the sensation

I made my favorite things tonight for family dinner: York peppermint patty brownies! It's a good thing I'm trying to watch what I eat because otherwise I might eat the whole rest of the pan.
I saw the Science of Sleep last night in Boulder. I really enjoyed it. It's made by the same people who did Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I laughed a lot, mind you it was kind of a strange movie. I definitely suggest seeing it unless you're Heidi, and then you might want to wait until it comes out on video... Maybe to strange for you Heids.
I start my last quarter of school tomorrow. For the first time in a while I'm actually kind of nervous about the start of a quarter. Maybe its because this is the last one and the end symbolizes more decision making or maybe because I'm still exhausted from the last quarter... Either way it all starts tomorrow despite my nerves. :) What are my classes this quarter, you might be asking, well I'd be happy to tell you.
1) Asian Cuisine
2) Menu Management
3) the School Restaurant (the class is actually called A la Carte cooking, but who knows what that actually is?)
That's it. I know. 12 units and I'm outta there. yesssssssssssssssssss
