The weather has been really great around here. I think that the city has come out of hibernation. I've been walking the lake at the park near my house. I really love the park. The kids, the walkers, the joggers, the joggers that really should be walking *I'm often in that category*, the ducks and geese, the city fishermen. I often see some pretty amazing things like ducks with mohawks and geese doing yoga, but my favorite part about walking the park are the neighborhoods around the park. I've been "house watching" a lot recently. Every street in this part of town is like a new neighborhood, the houses are different on everyone. This really gives me the urge to buy! (not like I can, but i love the idea)
Basketball fever is upon me. My bracket is getting filled out diligently, I anxiously wait for the games to start, scream and yell at the TV, and when I have to miss them due to something else, I can't wait to get home to read the recaps. I know, I've lost my mind completely. I just can't help myself. Go Bruins!
I volunteered last night for a fundraiser called "Chefs upfront". Its for an organization called
Operation Front line. They are eager to stop childhood hunger in Colorado. I definitely can stand behind that! Anyway, the whole thing was pretty awesome. Chefs from probably about 25 different restaurants came and put on a table side dinner for their table of 10. I was a server for a modern Mexican restaurant called
Zengo. I really enjoyed it. I'm going to look into seeing if I can help OFL any on a regular basis... we'll see.
anyway, things are good. I'm just desperately trying to figure out a way to give my number to my coffee crush...
